How difficult is it to mess with NPC models in these games? There's the lady in back there, and while she's obviously lower poly and likely has a far more limited skeleton, would it be possible to tweak her model in a similar way?

Β I tried to do that in SFIV with no success, as they're part of the stage and it was all just a huge mess. But I've been thinking of looking into it in this game, especially since they announced the new beach level. I'll let u know when I look into trying it.

It would be really cool to see, since its more of a subtle way of fleshing out the fmg in the game. Has SFV running on Unreal 4 helped make the tweaking process any easier?

It's easier in the sense that you can import whole models into Maya instead of using a program to take them out piece by piece, and edit them as separate pieces. But it's harder in the sense that you can't do anything that adds history to the model, as things like the merge vertex tool leave data behind that the unreal engine can't handle.

Β The game was clearly rushed out the door to cater to the tournament crowd, as there's very little there short of vs. gameplay.
Β As for Juri, I'm hoping her alt. costumes are kewl, because the default one I've seen artwork of doesn't look so great to me, especially for modding. Speaking of, I'm gonna be opening up for mod commissions soon. Could be a way to get the beastly Juri you've always wanted as quickly as possible <_<

I'm a huge fan of KoF, as youΒ know.Β Have you been following the videos coming out regularly for KoF XIV?Β Leona was the FIRST FEMALE ANNOUNCED, fuck yes.Β Also, almost all of the new characters look pretty interesting.Β Luong, Kim's new female teammate, for example, looks pretty sexy.Β And Xanadu looks batshit insane.
And the new Chinese protagonist uses giant Phoenix Wright UMVC3 hands to attack.
Also, Geese Howard and Tung Fu Rue are alive.
