Description
This is NOT my usual way for the colorization. ^^But I hope it can help you.
Notice that I did not erase anything on the background layer on step 2. The shade on the hair and clothes result of this layer under the white I added for hair and clothes.
So, I almost use only 2 tools, the pen and water. Sometimes I use the airbrush.
I did not use texture for the moment.
For the curtains I hatched with the eraser in "fine round" mode.

omg this is wonderful *o*! I was wondering how you make all that amazing stuff omg! Oh you use so much more brushes then I do *__*! I just use airbrush all the way XD this reminds me there are also other brushes in existance XD also your drawing of character is just beautiful, I wish I could draw characters like that *__*!

I did not think I use so much tools.
My main tools are " pen" and "water" but in different mode.
I love the spread mode. It reminds me my watercolour *_*
But there are so many tools on SAI! I did not try all of them!

I really should use other tools 0_0! I got so comfortable with airbrush I forgot there were other stuff XD but I'll remember next time painting there are other beautiful brushes that I can make stuff with >3 it would be a shame not to use more of them *_* I literally make paintings just with airbrush and blur XD omg what kind of artist am I XDD
I must use pen and water then *_* you do amazing job with them! *goes to try* water in spread mode is sooo awesome XD!! Why didn't I try this before, I'm definitely using this *_* thank you soo much

I am not comfortable at all with the airbrush.XD
I am better with the "water".
But I think using only airbrush and blur isn't bad if you're
comfortable with. It is like me with my pen and water.XD
But you're right, trying to use other tools can be good. *_*
I will try to put more airbrush on my drawing!
