The last few days have been wonderful! Not only did I get to start work on the trailer, but there's been a flurry of activity, with programming updates and the first theme music concept coming through.There's still another polish pass to do on the art, with particle effects just starting to go into the game, but I'm happy with the way the look and feel of the game is coming together.

Risa, these are great! My one critique would be that the graffiti doesn't look like it was painted on the walls. because the wall texture doesn't show through the paint.
I do love the taunting nature of the princess.
When you're done with this project and you're interested, I'd love to team up with you on something.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out, I agree there too. I'd been putting it off, as it means editing over 200 images, but I'll certainly be adjusting those before the final release.

Is the game going to be freeware or priced software?

It will be priced in line with similar indie games (so not expensive). Making and marketing a game costs time and money, so unfortunately, freeware isn't an option for us.

We're releasing on iTunes (as well as PC and Mac), so it certainly won't be as expensive as Minecraft.

There certainly are a few, but for the most part, the game centers around making your way down through the traps laid for you.
