With this piece, I wanted a real sense of scale. The theme is all about flight and trusting yourself. I wanted it to feel like a dream; the only way to find out if you can fly or not is to jump.Time: Approx 5-6 hours

The level of depth in color and imagination within this image is astounding. The thought of his attempt makes one think realistically about what would happen, yet a part of one would enjoy it if this individual really could soar through the air. Indeed, it would be so uplifting, figuratively and literally, to have such freedom, if even for a moment.

I just love this picture. I mean out of every picture that I have stuffed into my favorites folder, this is my favorite of all. I love the scene and the colors and this is just breathtaking. Great Job on this one. :}

This is absolutely amazing. With just the sense of scale and the panoramic view of the cliff below makes your heart clench in excitement, waiting for the jump, eager to fly.

That's really beautiful. I've definitely had dreams like that where I wasn't sure what I could do, so I just jumped. I immediately got the same feeling in the picture, too, where you're a little bit scared, but also excited to do something.
I love the fluorescence of the waterfalls, and of the man's outfit. The sense of space is so overwhelming in this picture, which I think is always the trickiest part for any art.
This really radiates with how much work you put into it, and I really could stare at it forever.
