With this piece, I wanted a real sense of scale. The theme is all about flight and trusting yourself. I wanted it to feel like a dream; the only way to find out if you can fly or not is to jump.Time: Approx 5-6 hours

I really like this picture, especially for the beautiful use of colour, but I think the 'dream' aspect you were looking for is slightly lost... For one thing, the cliff on this side of the chasm is too dark and brown - It looks too... 'real'. (I don't know why 'brown' amounts to 'real', but that's the best description I have). The runner doesn't quite look like he believes - He's not going fast enough, and he doesn't look ready to jump/fly, despite being so close to the edge. In fact, the positioning of his front foot and his posture suggest that he's in the process of stopping. Stretching out his stride, leaning him forward, and changing his arm position might help with that.

Awesome! The landscape...accords perfectly with the idea of "fly"; colours are beautiful:somehow "hyperphysical" (Orange with Green and Blue is...*shivers*).
I casually zoomed the pic bottom up: the sense of movement is amazing! I really like the high angle -like a bird is following the scene from the overhead...it's inspiring! congratulations

I hope for his sake he can fly haha. Great art piece though. The colours draw you to the center point of the painting along with the lines of the rivers and cliffs. Simply amazing, excited to see what comes from you next
