I'd have to finish Daredevil before I jump back into Yu Yu though...

I was introduced to Bleach first and Yu Yu Hakusho a few years later, and honestly I like Yu Yu Hakusho better, (it was better paced in my opinion) but they're both good manga/anime.
Sure there's a lot of similarities and Tite Kubo was probably inspired by Yu Yu Hakusho, (a lot) but as a writer myself it's kind-of hard to make a good story that doesn't use an idea already in some other book/movie/manga/whatever. I think he did a good job of making a similar story that had his own unique twist to it.

i can agree with you. ever since the first volume came out i only read one chapter and immediately thought that Yu Yu Hakusho loosely inspired bleach if not entirely.

yup i stopped watching it because the plot was similar "I see dead people" thing and that was like what the second episode?

screw albindo blue eyes hiei's darkness flame will melt all of his fucking ice. and kuwabara will beat uryu since hes suppose to have like spirit Quincy arrows and shit where as kuwabra has hsi spirit sword.

i can agree on that in respect considering i have studied animation and i think everything inspires everything it just depends on how well the story is executed and if the characters are likeable or not. i just cant stand bleach's art style i cant tell the women from the men neck up unless i look at their chests sadly. HunterxHunter got revised i wonder if YYH will get the same treatment?
i watched YYH first then i watched/tried to read bleach and i got up to the arc after rescuing rukia then i stopped and moved on. i caught up online but now i think ichigo is kinda boring without his hallow powers.

well now that the mangas been done why not remake the series and follow the manga? i already have the series on DVD wouldnt mind colelcting it again sailor moon is getting revised and the mangas out on print again whos to say yyh wont get the same treatment the manag creators are husband and wife after all xD
