Reminds me a lot of Yoshitaka Amano's classic Vampire Hunter D work. If you don't have it yet get the art book "Vampire hunter D: Coffin" which is a collected edition of all of Amano's work on the subject.

This work is amazingly intense, it reminds me a lot of Yoshitaka Amano's paintings. The figures flow so smoothly, they look like they're dancing. The assassin's eyes are really captivating.
