please tell me where I can find information on your eggmorph. it looks cool, and somewhat like it was a whole mass of flesh that could ungulf a regular egg. though i am wondering about the specific details as to how other Xenomorphs would create an eggmorph after their queen is gone... maybe the queen created the egg morph for an egg to be placed in, the egg morph would then make the facehugger inside become a queen. that would be interesting.

I thought they're able to molt into Queens

Althrough I've to disagree with the theory of bigger female yautja; as the 'Big Mama' predator shows little difference than males

Well i am not a fanof this molting into another caste like in the video games.
This concept makes the other stages of the lifecycle a little obsolete.

I know this was invented with the purpose, that if there is no egg-producing xenomorph left in the hive, one xeno can molt into a queen so the hive can regain.
It's hard to believe that an individual xenomorph can decide to molt. Normally a molting is a natural growing process.

For this situation (no egg laying xeno in the hive) i like the idea of eggmorhing.
A drone catches a host and start the process of eggmorphing. This egg may hatch every time a royal facehugger. If it is a random facehugger the rebuilding of the hive would be harder.
But every time you need hosts. I think if there is no host, the hive can not be rebuild and would die. The xenomorph is an host based organism. No host no xenos.

The idea of a female yauja beeing a little bigger and more feminin comes from the Aliens vs. Predator novel series, which state female Yautja have overtly feminine features such as breasts.
In the crossover-comic Witchblade/Aliens/Darkness/Predator: Mindhunter there is a female yautja called "Sister Midnight" who looks more feminin.

There is an inconsistence i know.

I like the Molting process because it gaves a solution for one xeno that could re-start the entire species back; if the right circumstances were found; like Royal jelly/and no leading xenomorph castes. It also explains the whole 'gender' concept of the Xenomorphs. İe Parthanogenesis/Asexual reproduction & the possiblity of Hermophroditic aliens. However You misunderstood it; a normal xenomorph cannot decide to molt; it could be forced the molt either only by the Queen into her next heir/Preatorian-Young Queens if the Queen is far too old and she decides herself to expose one of her subjects to expose to the Royal Jelly; the other way is to after one Queen/Empress/Queen mother's killed; the most Alpha xenomorph's to become one by being exposed by other xeno's to Certain process'es. They still Do need to Hosts; the New Queen's able to produce eggs; by parthanogenesis; but the eggs do need hosts very very much. It does makes sense as it made the Xenomorphs look more like a 'natural' species that evolved perfectly. İt isn't truly natural; The Xeno's could still produce RoyalFacehuggers, it happens in the great Times of Stress. 
As far As I read from the comics that explained the QueenMothers and the most liked AvP game; its most likely Canon. However I do see the eggmorphing as a concept; possible; Xenomorphs could found more than one way to reproduce/egg production. 


İn the only known cannon example of a female predator; also known as 'Big Mama' ; showed only a little difference; coloration/different dreadlocks; from the males; that truly made sense to their Species as True 'aliens' to not show any similiariaties to Human's. İn previous; likely non cannon; 'explaination' given in one comic; the female predators explained un-logically being not only a little; but far more larger and far more stronger&aggressive than Males that they also've a habit to kill males; that truly doesn't made any sense; as they made look predators like Earth Spiders. 
Maybe the appearance of females changes from Subspecies to Subspecies; and from clan to clan; thus making both explainations possible; or there're alpha females & beta females - also making both explainations possible. 


Most likely explaination for major inconsistencies in the AvP universe; is the constant change between supporter companies and directors. 

I hope you'ld continue to make awesome art like that; I'ld like to talk about the possible Space Jockey/Engineer Subtypes/Subspecies as Well

well i guess i did misunderstood the molting process.
If a lower xenomorph-caste can only molt if forced to molt by a higher caste it makes much more sense.
Otherwise there would be no reason for not molting into a higher caste. And a whole planet would instantly be full of fat queens ^^

And i am very interested in what you have to say about the Spacejockey problem. I kand of dislike the new prometheus way of engeneers.

Indeed; Generally all xeno's are potentially capable of infecting a planet much like necromorphs of Dead space. But almost all phetomones are under the control of current Queen/Empress or Queen Mother. But without the lackness of one all xeno's could potentially become Queens or more; usually the dominant one/s. There's an ant species that show an extremely similiar behaviore that all colony're fertile workers that are potential reproducers; but the dominant one steriles them/make them dormant. Its called '' Gamergate '' in ant terminalogy. That would explain a lot and make xenomorphs more alike space ants/wasps

I speculate that there're different types of females in different clans and subspecies that might vary a lot. Or there're Alpha & Beta females that alpha's are the larger ones and beta's are the competing ones.


İn Space Jockeys; the solution might be the species heavily Genetically modified & engineered themselves & become something akin to The Combine of Half Life genre and/or several Speculative Human/Trans-Human species from speculative evolution. There're worker species; leader species, and warrior sub-species (maybe even similiar to Advent of XCOM2) all are descendants of one species and are gathered on one function/direction until a likely fatal civil war; so both Giant Behemoth Space Jockeys & Engineers are very possible.

I found the video about the early derelict theories.

I wrote it of for you:

"if the derelict craft was made by someone or if it was grown instead
it has even been speculated that the craft itself may even be alive
the derelict craft shares biomechanical traits with the alien creature itself
it was this fact that led many to come up to the conclusion that the derelict craft may be a living vessel or explains where the alien eggs were coming from

there is a concept art for the derelict crafts egg room as drawn by HR Giger
many people speculated that these bulbs on the side of the walls were a kind of womb that we’re producing the eggs there
it even appears to be a type of biomechanical conveyor belt leading from the womb down to where the eggs are placed now
remember there was no evidence of a queen alien or any evidence of eggmorphing at this time
the sheer idea of a living derelict craft that was giving birth to aliens is a crazy idea but the craziness doesn’t stop there
alien fans also speculated as to what the space jockey was
if you look at the original spacejockey design that was used in alien
the pilot looks as if he is growing out of his seat this led many people to believe that the spacejockey itself was growing from the derelict
it was the brain to the ship. the pilot itself is a creature of inhuman size and appearence with a somewhat humanoid look
its most alien feature is the bone like extension leading from its face onto its chest
the creature was included in the very first script of the film and described as a grotesque thing barring no resemblance to the human form
at the request of ridley scott the pilot is a symbol of the vastness of space and the horrifing creatures that exists in the corpse is seemingly fused to the telescope like device
hr giger commented on the design:
the creature we finally ended up with building is biomechanical to the extent that he has physically grown into or maybe even out of hs seat
he’s integrated totally into the function he performs
one could then imagine a different alien universe if these theories ended up coming true a living craft with a grown brain or nerve center
that was the spacejockey itself perhaps the jockeys that the ship grew could stand and leave the chairs than we can think of the craft is giving birth to a race of aliens
the ship would also be growing the alien eggs and its cargo hold
its possible that the alien was a weapon system of the craft or simply just another extension of itself like the spacejockeys"

Understood. But the possbility of Xenomorphs being Similiar to Not only Gamergate but also Hives with multiple Queens remains. 

But I presume the Ship being 'attached' to the Space Jockey makes the Pilot Extremely Vulnerable, never being able to leave.

Maybe we should not speak of Derelict and Jockey as two parts, but see it as a whole. As if the jockey was just a kind of organ. I always have to think of living spaceships like LEXX or Star Trek.

Considering spacejockeys/engineers:

I always liked the idea that the derelict spacecraft and the spacejockey were once one living thing!
Somewhere is a youtube video that defines that, but i do not find this video again.

It was like the derelict was once some form of hybrid of technology and biology (biomechanics you know ). Maybe it was covered with skin inside and outside.
The pilot is some form of "brain" to the ship. Maybe it is "born" (or made) with the ship togehther and is always in this "chair".
In the video there was the idea that the ship itself maybe was filled with some kind of fluid. Because the pilot does not move and there is no other crew the tunnels and hallways were some ind of veins.
In addition the alien-eggs maybe are some kind of weapon and born in the ship to. There is one HR Giger painting called "HR Giger's Egg Silo Interior" that suggest that.

All of that did not deny the existence of other engineer castes.
But i do not support the idea of an engineer in a suit that hops into the driving-chair.
It is a stupid idea to explain the derelict and the spacejockey from alien like this!

I also read about the Ant hives with Multiple/Several Queens, also I read that the Queens aren't actually 'lead' the Hive, its workers/warriors who make the call, Queen being only the reproductive caste.

The Xenomorph Queen is likely reverse at that part, but I like to speculate a Hive with Multpile Queens at peace

I thinkk this is a good realistic idea.

Some form of telepathy (like a queen can control drones just by thinking is in my oppinion not a good idea.

I think that a form of swarm intelligence exists in the hive. But not a commander and command receiver situation.

Perhaps the queen can use lutes, gestures, or smells to give orders to the drones in her immediate vicinity, but I think it's unlikely the queen will say, "Now, please, all the aliens at level 3 and kill the Marines."
