Nic looked surprised up at the man he wanted to hate so much, wanted to kill with violence and without remorse but who still filled his heart even with the knowledge that he was the one who killed him, who left him to die in a fire after having lied to him about love and happines, then, 120 years ago.
"So beautiful.." William whispered and touched Nic's face, who opened his lips and showed his seemingly never retrcting fangs, the sign he was feral and not in control of his being as William was. "Don't hide from me, Nic. Never hide from me again."
