I've been interested in military camouflage patterns for a long time, and lately I've been messing around in Photoshop trying to recreate various patterns. This is an interpretation of the famous Vietnam War tiger stripe pattern, although neither the pattern itself or the colours are accurate to the original. I found various reference images of genuine tiger stripe uniforms from the 60's and 70's, and worked with that to design my own version that tiled in the way I wanted. Some of the features in the pattern are very close to the original, and some are not. The colour scheme is generally based off the "golden" tiger stripe variation used sparingly in the Vietnam War, although I've changed the colours with visual appeal in mind. Incidentally, it's somewhat close to the tiger stripe camouflage that Venom Snake uses in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
If you have any thoughts about it, I'd be extremely grateful if you could share them with me. I've been working on this for quite a while, and at this point I would really value some input. Thanks so much for your interest!
