 I'm thinking that the glasses are not so safe near the fire.
 perhaps something will be broken.  
 I think that when the fire will be on, I'll  remove the stained glass

yeah, keeping glass anywhere near heat--especially very saturated heat like in a roaring fire--for an extended period of time heightens the risk of shocking and cracking. But as long as the screen is only near the fireplace in front of glowing embers (and about a foot or so away from even those), the glass should be safe.

it's very cute, when it doubt just keep it away from heat altogether. Better safe than sorry, and it's a lovely piece.
