Very beautiful. It makes me think of the end of a fantasy movie, where the hero has vanquished the villain, and is returning to his home with his sidekick (princess, mentor, etc.) at his side. A pan across the valley, a swelling orchestral score, and we're set.

When I see beautiful places like this, it makes me really how terribly boring the landscape is where I live

Theres something fairtale about it. I really like it. Would be nice to see it with the colours enhanced a little bit, get some really crazy greens from the grass. Really play up the fairtale nature of the shot.
