-So if this is air drying clay, do you paint them afterwards or is the clay you use already colored?
-Also is there wire in them to help with support?
-And is there any protective layer so if they fell, they would break or stay intact? I made some teeth out of air dry clay and they pretty much shattered to bits (WITH a protective coating) when they hit the ground 
-Also is there a special type of air dry clay you use or just generic in art stores clay?

-Depends on the piece and on the details required. I currently prefer to use already coloured clay if I have it and if the design allows for it. sometimes I use one colour clay and paint them. most small detail however are painted because it becomes too bothersome to do them with clay.
-again depends on the detail in question and kind of clay I use. if it's something long and thin it is preferred to have something inside to support it. You'll have to do some tests to see the durability of the clay you have and get a proper feeling of it's quality
-No I don't have any protective layer. I doubt there is anything that would be capable to properly protect the sculpture just from the outer shell. there is no dog proof protection I know of XD I would advise strong inner wire structure to keep the sculpture together and another advice I can give is to try out something called "silk", "velvet" or "magic" clay. it's a very light and flexible air drying clay that is very resistant to damage. the light weight of it prevents the sculpture to gather momentum as it falls to do any significant damage and the flexibility of it prevents additional damage. it rather bends under pressure than breaks. it almost has the quality of foam when it dries
- as said before I use different kinds of clay depending on my needs but I really like so far the one I mentioned before. the bendy one.

They are all amazing! But I always liked black with gold, so that one is the cutest.
One little question... how are the eyes made? like some acrylic sphere or half sphere painted behind? their eyes looks perfect and gives them a lot of character!
