I wish I had read this comment years ago, just as I wish I had gone vegan years ago. We are taught not to question so many things, and this certainly includes where our food comes from and what the price really is to have it. This is a lovely though very sad comic.

Thank you so much! I myself think too that I should have gone vegan, or at least vegetarian, way sooner. I remember once receiving a flyer about veganism when I was 7 or 8, and it terrified me so much, that I tried to hide them so my parents wouldn't have to see it. I felt terrible, but unfortunately that feeling was gone in a short time. I simply continued to eat what I used to eat. It wasn't until some years later that I decided to take that step forward, and I'm glad that I did. But I wish that I'd have known back then what I know now...
Yes, sadly we are taught that, but at least we have the opportunity to escape this system of belief, even if it takes a lot of time and effort. And I hoped that I could maybe at least show some people the way there with this comic.
