Description
I do not know much about this guy yet. He is the father of a black siderian male that has a reputation that is frowned upon... And we all know that reputation can be contagious.

Full name
Ragnar Grav.
Last name may be a chosen name, to hide his real identity, or maybe it’s the other way around – that his real name is Grav, but that he is known as Ragnar Atheris . He remains a bit of a mystery to me as well as to other siderians.

Nickname
Atheris, maybe.
Based on his son’s reputation others may call him Sandstorm or Brown mamba for fun.

Species, gender and race
Siderian, male, Scandinavian

Age (birthdate)
He is the great grandfather of my main character Yava. I haven’t calculated his age yet, but 3 generations older means that he should be approximately 90-100 years older than Yava.

Birthplace
Iceland? He is from the Icelandic lineage, at least.

Mate
No clue yet, but probably black-based siderian female, since their two known offspring are both plain black.

Offspring
For now, 1 son (Fannar) and 1 daughter (Fjara). They are both plain black, but Fannar has green eyes and Fjara has yellow eyes.

Appearance
Intimidating, sportive, dexterous, muscled, silent observer, collected.

Reputation
Ambiguous: despite his stern appearance, he is a loyal and trustworthy friend, but only a few siderians know that he can also be a frightful enemy. He is true to his words.

Shoulderheight
No idea, probably same height as his son Fannar.

Bodybuild
Muscular build with a cat-like curved backbone melting into a wide and fluffy tail. He carries his head high and has a flexed stance, resulting in a cast-iron but vigilant/light-heeled expression. His face is the typical Scandinavian triangular shape (Oriental-cat like). Slanted eyes, typical shape (how do I explain this) with a stern expression.

Fur
Long-haired solid Havana with manes, facial hair, a short and long goatee (layered goatee) and a few ornaments on the legs. He is long-haired, so it is difficult to see the difference between his standard coat and ornaments (e.g. near the elbows and knees).

Voice and manner of speaking
Direct, calm and uses a range of volumes – from soft whispery to penetratingly pure. Possibly baritone to slightly bass with a slightly powerful and attention-claiming tone.

Most likely I’ll end up listening to more Disney villains in different languages, but for now, the German Doctor Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. Only the talking, lower parts (e.g. 1:55 - 2:03), not the nasal or high singing tone!

Personality and mannerism
Present, blunt/honest when needed, but overall collected and observant attitude, rational, loyal to his friends/family, not a joker but likes to laugh and can be pleasant companionship. Doesn’t tolerate mockery. At all.

History
He is master in martial arts and has a small class with maybe 3 or 4 siderians in training, one of which is his son Fannar.
Spoiler alert: Ragnar and Fannar will be hired by the leader of Boiling Bay (Iceland) for a defense against an invasion coming from Norway. That leader happens to be the mother of Sivana. This is probably how Sivana and Fannar met, later leading to two granddaughters for Ragnar, one of which is named after him because she is also Havana brown – Ragna. The other is Malta; she is the mother of Yava and therefore the connection between this family and family Sætansen (Stian). Ragnar doesn’t approve of Malta’s relationship with a Sætansen (Axel), because the two families have met before long ago in Boiling Bay… and not in a friendly way. So, guess who led the invasion?
