i just duplicated the line art, masked off the lines i wanted to be a diffrent color, and changed the lines colors through the 'Color Overlay' in Layer Styles.
I added some extra lightning around his chestplate that wasn't orginally there too. its just a solid white lines with the layer style set to "outerglow.' You can fiddle with the outer glow color and size to get the desired look.

nah its just that maybe a different coloring technique, the colors are solid, its just that try adding color to the lineart in the right places

Lineart is always fun to do. lol I barely do it now, though. I'm just now getting back into art.
But the coloring style is GREAT! Keep it up.

its pretty easy to get lost in doing colors. I been mostly practing inking and penciling though. . . i wish my lines were a little more up to speed with my coloring, but it'll all eventually come together.
Gabe's had TONS more expirince with inking then me though. . .and he's not afraid to ink with dip pens like me
