The only thing known for certain about the Sentinels is that they are, in their own ageless way, alive. Thought to be genetically engineered, the eternally self-preserving beings are an integral part of the Lore of the peoples of the moons of Asturia. Also known as Watchers, the imposing creatures stand tall along the penumbral edges between the tidally-locked worlds’ dark and sunny sides. The peoples of Roni believe they are the legacy of ancient races that are either long extinct, or now completely hidden from the system of commonly known worlds.
