30 Day Retrosaur Challenge day five - Duck Billed Goliath
The Cygnosaur (meaning ‘swan lizard’) was a rather successful semi-aquatic species from the mid-Creataceous, flourishing in swamplands and lakes. There’s some theories that they would actually build dams out of fallen trees and branches to reroute rivers. While foraging on land they would fall prey to the fearsome Tyrant lizards, such as Akrodon. The one in the illustration escaped with only a bitten tail.
