The duck had to go. Gobs of black foulness kept coming out of it in the bath and My son is not old enough to need to know that drinking bath water is not good.Taken by my wife.
Update:
For those who have expressed some concern - this was burnt in our fire place so the fumes went up the chimney - no stink.

*smiling* Okay, let me tell you my experiance with burning toys.
First off, this is awesome! I love it mainly cuz I hate Ernie with his damn rubber duckies, I HATE him!
Second, it reminds me of when I burned that stupid ass side kick of Barnie, Baby Bop. My dad bought a toy that sings and dances, and wanted to see if it would still sing whilst she was burning. My mother found out, hid her, but my dad found her again (about a year later) and the execution commenced. We brought her to the back yard, dowsed her in gasoline, pressed the play button, and I lit her on fire.
Amazingly she sang all the way through until her head exploded, and the cotton came pouring out like brains. Her voice malfunctioned, and she slowly stopped dancing.
I must say, that was probably my first orgasm........

More burning.....
My beloved teddy was just falling apart. At about 25 years old, he had almost no fur left, several holes in his body and only had stuffing left in his head arms and legs. Poor teddy, I loved him so but feared he wouldn't make it another year so I put together a small crucifix on top of a bonfire, nailed my teddy to it, added ketchup to the nail holes and placed a picture of Elvis at his feet.
What else was I to do but send teddy off with the dignity and respect he deserved?
