Her beauty was unsurpassed, and her light that set her apart from the rest could not even be matched by the sun itself. She was lonely, without someone to share her glory with her. Until one day, when she felt something behind her. It seemed evil, dark and constricting. She tried to run from what she did not know, but to no avail, the thing followed. She finally dared to look behind her, and what should she see, but a handsome unicorn, staring back at her. She smiled. He had no feet, for his legs extended to her very own shadow. He was a part of her. He was always there with her and soon she fell in love with the dark unicorn. She began to hear of unicorns being killed, hunters searching them out for their horns. She felt safe with her shadow behind her, but she noticed that that was not all following her. She ran and hid behind a rock, shrouded in bushes. She was able to peak her head out, and watch the hunters as they pointed to something on the ground. Her shadow. She whirled around, but not fast enough to avoid the hunter's arrow. As she lay in a pool of blood, she watched her shadow become his own being, and detach himself from her. He gave one last look as he cantered off, a grin crossing his face. She felt betrayed. He had promised to protect. But he killed her for his freedom.

yeah, took along time to do this. its kinda crappy, but i like it.
