Description
Len :"come on, try"Rin :"I can't, what if I fall?"
Len :"Then I'll be here to catch you, just like always"
Rin :"promise?"
Len :"Promise"
I remember doing something like this with my own siblings
This was really the product of seeing if I could make a model at least pose doing a handstand and it ended up becoming more than I could have ever hoped for.
This is however more than just a picture that I happened to have fun making. It is also a message for the entire MMD community.
Rin = the Noobs
and
Len = those of us who have been here for a while and know our way around.
Even if my peers fail to uphold to this I will do my best to keep this as a promise.
I was a noob once too, and even though my skills have improved I still have plenty to learn.
I remember what it was like to be new at MMD and I remember how many times I wanted to quit because I couldn't pose a model or I couldn't figure out how to make something in 3D modeling, or I couldn't figure out how to make a simple sentence in Utau. (I still stink at Utau)
It is our duty as those who know our way around to help those who don't.
We wonder why rules get broken?
Easy, 9/10 time that the rules of a model are broken it's a noob who hasn't been told there are rules yet.
Noobs, this is for you too.
If we tell you that there is a rule don't go all cry baby on us and say "There are no copyrights", "I can do what I want", "You can't control me", "There are no rules", "Stop cyber bullying me", "meany mic meany face".
All of those are immature and I'm pretty sure those of us who have been here since Nanami blocked the U.S.A., know what the word Melmelbuttercup means and remember the days before MMD had the Physics engine, self shadowing or MME know better than you.
I know, I can't get rid of all the drama we face almost daily by myself or with just one little picture... but I want to try.
I became an MMD Modeler because I didn't care how hard it would be. I don't care how hard it is to help the community either. I will keep trying until I see something good come from my efforts.
This is why I am willing to help you noobs as much as I can until you know how to do it on your own and you don't need my help anymore.
I may let you "fall" a few times, but when I do I'll always be right there to help you get back "on your feet" and try again.
I promise "falling" hurts a lot less when you have someone there to help you up. Most the people who have helped me don't even know they've done so, but at times they have been the reason I didn't just give up and quit.
Come on guys, think about it.
We came together to save Miku, why can't we do the same to protect the community we hold so dearly?

so cute, I would have thought Rin's hair bow would be like two extra hands (really bad imagination, i guess i watched too much of the miku shaped like legs)
