Not much really, but it does allow unlimited layers, plus a few extra handy features such as a symmetry function, extra brushes, and French Curves. I use layers a lot (I have trouble making decisions, layering helps) so I thought it was worth getting the full-price version just for that, but the other extras are cool, too.
