I was browsing through some old folders of art and found a few pieces from my Spring 2011 Drawing class that I never uploaded. This is one of them!The thing that was influencing my art the most last year was the idea of consecration--holiness and purity. I was also quite obsessed with anatomical human hearts. So that's what's going on with this piece! It was really fun to do--it's all watercolor.

Yessss--it was so much fun to do! The white was done with masking fluid (oh, and then touched up a little with acrylic I remember now). It's really fun, but time consuming to do!
