I really like how this one came out! I tried using the "Sgraffito Technique". It involves putting scratches with a pointed instrument ( I used Palette Knife)in thick paint.Theres a layer of "Lamp Black" on top of which the rest of the painting was done. The black seems to have "Tinted" the colors (best way I can explain it) even though i applied the colors after it dried.
Medium: Acrylic Paint
Time: 2.5 hours

Hehehe I remember this one. As always, this is some of the best non-objective color work I've seen on the site. Your mastery of those strong, vibrant colors is incredible, and I'm always in awe of your work.
This, as well as many of your others, has a very plastered, fresco feel to it. It sings "oil, oil, oil colors!" to me, which makes me even more impressed that this is an acrylic piece. The way that your colors melt into each other, yet remain distinct and vibrant like fireworks or marbled paper is astounding.

I kind of see this ball of fire among some tall grass. It looks cool! Abstract is hard!

it depends on how you approach it, yes it does require concentration but i personally find the endless experimentation fun!
