Description

A final design on the two ring based weapons my OC Tag Darkblood uses.

Both rings were passed down through the family for generations. They served a mostly ceremonial roll in the Darkblood history, being used to formally "knight" a member of the family upon birth and in the case of twins one ring was given to each newborn... until recently. Being exposed to the natural latent Chaos Energy around the world, the rings were proven to be powerful tools once it was realized they were able to change their shape into a sword and shield.

Upon this realization the Darkblood family took to updating their traditions and began to teach each new generation proper sword-fighting and and defensive techniques. However, with Tag, he's taken these teachings, and put them to, as his father would say, "...such good use, he would put King Arthur to shame." After a near takeover of the planet by Dr.Eggman and his forces lead by the mysterious Infinite, a few months into the occupation Tag would again show off his prowess in defeating several dozen of Eggmans forces as well as taking on Infinite himself going so far as to injure the jackal twice.

During one of the later incidents in the war, Tag was taken prisoner and as an example was ejected into space to drown the hope of those planetside. Only it seemed to backfire, as thanks to a survival technique his family had taught him previously as well as a capsule containing two imprisoned Whisps. As Tag regained consciousness he managed to free the two friendly aliens, and in thanks they took a liking to rings, and using their Hyper Go-On power, transformed his weapons and allowed him to survive a brief flight through space and back into the fight!
