This Studio Gainax/Studio Khara color guide to Asuka Langley's plugsuit was displayed at Shizuoka Hobby Square's Evangelion and Japanese Swords exhibit. Asuka looks really cute here -- too bad we hardly ever see her like this, especially as the series goes on. I recently found a hilarious audio play called Evangelion: After the End in which the characters pretend to be actors and try to make up an extra season. Asuka -- expertly played by Yuko Miyamura -- suggests turning Evangelion into a Power Rangers "super sentai" show called Shin Sentai Evangelion -- with herself as the main character, of course, since she wears red and thinks she should get top billing over Shinji and Rei. If anyone wants to cosplay as Asuka, I recommend looking at this color guide, since she'd probably call you a "baka" if you got the details off.
