Description
The Colt Single Action Army revolver was a .45-caliber six-shot pistol introduced in 1873 after the Civil War. It is still in production, though more as a historical artifact and collector's item than as an actual military weapon. To commemorate its role as "the gun that won the West," the Autry Museum of the West in Los Angeles's Griffith Park has a Single Action Army revolver on display.Related content
