Not in this display, but I saw a replica of Novelty in Manchester.

The first 'tank engine' and with forced draught.  Ericsson was always formidable.

Sportier, involved in the second worst accident in BR history. Rammed a train after passing a red light. The tender and first coach dislodged the upright and the bridge collapsed onto the train. 88 died in total (around that mark. Going off the top of my head!)
Rocket, the loco that all steam locos followed in principle.

Where was this accident?

Lewisham in about 1957. November time. I am trying to remember this off the top of my head, purely because I sometimes cannot be bothered to Google things even when on the internet. Plus it makes me think and try and remember.

I do remember the driver was tried twice for Manslaughter but was never found guilty for the accident.
