Description Two streamliners sit close to each other at the National Railway Museum (York, England): British Railways ex-Southern Railway "Battle of Britain Pacific" 4-6-2 steam locomotive No. 34051 "Winston Churchill" (SR Brighton Works, 1946), the locomotive that pulled the prime minister's funeral train in 1965, and West Japan Railway Company ex-Japanese National Railways Tokaido-San'yo Shinkansen (東海道・山陽新幹線) Series 0 bullet train Q2 M'c driving motor car No. 22-141 (built 1976).

Hmm debatable whether you can call the Bullied a streamliner. Some say yes it is. I think that it is a a form of smoothing but the front end is certainly not. There was a notion that it was designed to go through the carriage washing plant but no evidence they ever did. I think that if they were washed there was always the potential for the oil pots to be mixed with water. Something that is a big no no.
