Description
This is my every 1st piece that i cast in bronze and one of my largest piece in bronze in is 27 inchs tall and 16 inch wide. It had a lot of air that was trapped in the head and wax didnt burn out completely . I really didn't understand the process of casting bronze as well as i do now and didnt apply the proper sprue and vent system for the piece. But it is one of my favorite piece that i have done, and it also is about 35 pounds.Related content

I can see where it didn't cast properly in the head. I've noticed that to be a problem with heads, unless tey're sprued up just right. Spruing is a pain, I'm not too experience with casting yet (addicted to it, though), so I understand where this one could happen pretty easily. I like how you did the cloth, and some of the detail in the ridges of the wings. Nice and classic, very nice for a first cast, and ambitious, too! The movemnt of your figures always impresses me
