meet Zanthekk! He is a 50 ft long Ancient known as a Moneckta Worm.

Moneckta Worms are known for their aggressive and solitary nature. They eat anything that enters their territory grounds and will chase anything that tries to flee. These monstrous worms are completely blind, and navigate via the spines on their back which are hollow. These spines reverberate when sound is made, and the worm can track the source of the sound by which direction the waves came from. They sleep under the vast sands of Torisus, and only wake when they sense sound in their territory. Moneckta Worms occupy sand-lands up to 100 acres and cannot expand or cross the barriers of their chosen home. Zanthekk is the last existing of his kind, and is regarded as a spiritual executioner. The people of Tumble Town and the city of Thorvis send criminals out into his area to be eaten for their transgressions.

Unfortunately, his territory borders the ancient gateway that connects to Doomsday, built by the Furaxi to help citizens of Torisus communicate with their trading partners. Trila and co. will have to enter his domain in order to reach this gateway in order to get closer to her brother..
