Description
This is an Octahedron made by weaving 48 wood pieces together and miter them at 90 degree square right angles. These are tabletop sculptures nice for home or office décor. They are especially nice in a dark room with a battery flicker candle inside.

Pick any one stick and follow it edge to edge all the way around it makes a zig-zag pattern of 8 pieces that comes around right back to itself. There are 6 of these independent identical patterns interwoven with each other.
