A Bichir! Very cool fish.
I had a pair of Ornate that I kept with a pair Tiger Oscar in our big tank. Kept them from hand length to well over a foot long (and still growing).
Our Budgie like them. He used to sit on his swing beside the tank, talking to them - LOL! He would even tried to groom them through the glass.

They are! I really love them
I keep mine with 6 ropefish; they always cuddle up to each other and the Bichirs

Oh he is so pretty I just want to snuggle that face and squish that chubby body~ How big is he? Nice shot too by the way - I like the depth of field! Was this manual or auto focus? I also have the 600D now.

About 25-30cm, I think >.<
It was manual, the auto focus took to much time and always focused on the background >.>
It's a really good cam, but I need other lenses. At least two; one for macro and one with high zoom. Taking pics of birds that are more than 10m away is impossible with the lens I have atm.

Yeah, I almost always use manual as well - I can control focus and depth of field so much better like that. And yeah, I know what you mean - I have the standard 18-55mm lens, and while it's perfect for anything medium distance and a little bit of macro, I also need more lenses. I'm saving for a macro lens and then I'll probably look at getting one with more zoom. I also want a polariser.

If only it wouldn't cost so much...
Photography is such an expensive hobby.

Thank you
Polypterus ornatipinnis are also very beautiful, but imo they are to big for my tank

You're welcome !
I know they get a pretty good size o_o. That and they would fight with yours so it would be bad lol.

They have the cutest little faces. He looks very happy and healthy. How heavily is the tank planted?

He is!
I don't have many plants in it; but much wood.
I'll upload an updated pic of the tank tomorrow.
