I like how the limited color palette draws attention to the complexities of rectangular shapes built along a curved base path in the tail. The highly symmetric face and the nearly symmetric hills make for a nice contrast, also.

thanks! I tend to do that a lot with tails, it gives a pop to the composition of the piece. and contrasts add more drama.
