Description
Just a quick mock up of the tank car, sitting on the British Chieftain tank's tracks. The plan is to build it like a WW2 tank destroyer with the gun stuck pointing forwards and plenty of heavy armour. Initial I wanted to have the engine bay area be where the loader sits, but there isn't enough room so thinking I mite have the cannon's rear enter the cab sections so a passenger could load the cannon. The windows will be armoured over and entrance will only be possible through hatches on the roof, also got plans for a machine gun turret on the roof over the rear boot/trunk area. Need to come up with a name for it, thinking Big Betty due to similar ones I've herd tanks called, but I'm open to suggestions if any has any?
Parts used:
Revell 1/24 66 Chevelle Stationwagon - car body
Tamiya 1/35 British Chieftain Tank - Tracks
Da Green One - 28mm Ork Cannon
Puppets of War - 28mm plough

Thanks I wanted to use a Churchill, but those kits were too expensive at the time, so bought the chieftain instead.

Churchill tracks have better grip. Plus, they're more complex, and it looks way better. I think the only advantage of Churchill's track is thickness.

It was more for looks when I was sourcing the parts to build this. I would have just built the Churchill and removed the turret, dropping the car body on top.
