Bio:
Born into a rather Gothic family of Mercers that was centuries old, Pumps found herself in a family of Magic users, what others would easily call witches. Just to set the tone for how old this family was, her older sister was in the 200's age wise. Each member of the family seemed to have some specialty when it boiled down to it, but as for Pumps, her only strong point seemed to be reading Auras. She couldn't help but feel out of place, despite her family's love and support. Sometimes kids at school would tease her for her family's "creepy vibes" whenever they'd visit for parent-teacher-conferences. She felt pretty alienated due to this. Don't get her wrong, she loves her family, she's not ashamed to be seen with them. She just felt like she was weaker compared to the rest, and every time she tried to prove she could expand her knowledge she'd have some potion blow up in her face. It was really off-putting.

During her time in High School, she absolutely fell in love with music, signing on to be a drummer in her Band Class. It worked as a good outlet for all her energy after all. Despite her family's interest in the 'far from normal', she seemed to be content with pursuing a career in music for a while. She adored the style of music that arrived with the popularity of 8-bit games and found herself tinkering with various synth-instruments to mimic tunes from popular songs in the style of 8-Bit music. Over time she'd come up with her own compositions, and would get small-time gigs playing at any place that would have her; Malls, Bars, Pubs. You name it.
During this time away from her family, she'd been in and out of various peoples houses, not really having a solid place to stay. Nobody really minded keeping her around, her personality seemed to liven up the place.
It was in this time she found herself engaged in a bit of an "online" romance. It was all so exciting, the person had a very similar taste in music as she did, and they could talk for hours on end in chat-rooms. It's fair to say that Pumps was by no means new to dating (Or even a virgin. Girl knows how to party if she feels up to it), but she certainly was new to "Online" dating, even if the individual was just a city over.
So, finally, one day it got to a point where both were deeply in love, and wanted to finally embrace one another. So, she sent the lover the address and room number of the motel she had been staying at.
What came next was a bit of a shock to the musically inclined mercer. After sitting and chatting with her lover for a while, the individual revealed to Pumps that they weren't the person they'd been pretending to be, and were in fact a ghost. Pumps, having what she could only describe as a complete and total lapse of judgement, proceeded to ignore this new information entirely and made swEET SWEET LOVE.

Then questioned her sanity.

Then broke up with the ghost a week later when she learned the ghost was cheating on her with various other people.
And yeah, She did for a brief time consider repenting them but knew that if it was out of revenge, it wouldn't sit well with her in the end. Whatever, some angel will get a heaven outa that fucker someday.

After this total fiasco of a romance, she ended up moving back in with her family. Her career in music had began to flop as different genres became more popular and in much higher demand than just early chiptune music. So she came back home for real this time, and began to help run her older sister's shop. Since 2010 she's been back home with her family.

(In the time she spent away, she learned that her parents had a baby girl; and at the time, Pumps completely dropped all of her gigs just to come back home to meet the younger sister. But she wasn't able to stick around for long. for the first 8 years of her younger sister's life, she'd be in and out of the picture, pursuing music but checking back in on everyone at home to make sure everything was ok. Pumps would periodically call her older sister to check in with her when she couldn't come by and visit, just to make sure everyone was alright.)
