There are parts like this for many pistols already.The rail system doesn't ever touch the slide,it just wraps around it and since the casing flies out more to the right the upper rail wouldn't be in the way either

I've tried to do that wrap around rail on a lot of pistols i've made in the old PMG but could never do it right.Strange enough I,ve done way cooler pistols in the new PMG then I did in the old one Lol.

That rail mount isn't hard to do. Just pick some iron sights and blend them together. That's all
