Since they're scouting the coast, would they have a get-away ship nearby? Did you purposely make them all light infantry or was it accidental?

Yeah they would most likely have a ship hanging around docked somewhere. Yep, most germanic people could only really afford a spear, shield and maybe a seax knife at best. Only would proffessional warriors or thegns could perhaps afford a helmet. Iron was a rare commodity for the germanic tribes. These guys would have been the best guys in the raiding party

I thought the germans had more access to Iron than their Celtic(the various kingdoms in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall before it was captured by The Anglo-Saxons, Viking and Norman Conquers, Brittany before it became conquered by the Franks, and Galicia before the Celtic refugees there assimilated into the Basque, Moorish and Romantic cultures within Iberia) Romantic( At this time period I believe they were the "vulgar"-latin groups that held out in the various Italian Kingdoms and city-states, Illyria, Wallachia & Moldavia, and the common people in the western and southern sections of thr Frankish empire as well as Iberia) Greek( the Byzantines) counterparts?

An incredible piece of work! I'd say the only criticism I might have would be the lack of individuality among the three men. The hair makes them look like they share the same face.

However, that is a small bit for me. The landscape is fantastic, weapons, shoreline, the nature in general is fantastic!Β

Thanks! good question about the tatoo. I think there is a record of Celtic Britons having tatoos. Tatooing is used world wide, so it's most likely they did. Unfortunatly it's hard to know for certain because there is no physical evidence. That's my best answer I can give

Thanks! Yeah I did. I went to Northern Ireland last yeah and took some reference photos. I also had some photos from Devon and Somerset that came in handy.
