I had a version of this in black and white, but the photo lab screwed up the entire roll (I think they tried to develop it with color chemistry...

Meh. Worse things have happened to me. Once I took a full roll of pictures for a summer project in school, and the people at the store lost the whole roll. As you might be able to guess, my project didn't go so well.

I've thought about it some, and I think it's just that there was a new person working there this past time who didn't know what the heck she was doing. Two lost rolls in three years isn't too bad, I guess.

I've been very lucky my past two zoo trips to get lots of good shots of the cheetah. After more than a year of the cheetah enclosure being occupied by crowned cranes and other assorted birds, I'm more than happy to overload on the cheetah pictures.
