Description
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Point Defiance Zoo recently to see their crop of clouded leopard cubs this year. Three adorable little cubs, about 10 weeks old when I saw them. Super adorable. I think I handled myself pretty well, given that the last time I saw clouded leopard cubs, I:1) had to go to an entire separate continent to see them (they were in Paris).
2) squealed like a little school girl when I saw them.
3) almost broke my lens in my zeal to photograph them (cracked part of the plastic ring holding the focusing elements).
This time, I merely took 800 pictures and got myself kicked out of the exhibit once for hogging the glass. A step forward, I think.

It's like you have a portrait studio for exotic animals.

Haha, I wish. Give me a few clouded leopard cubs and a well lit room, and I would be in heaven.

Sounds like quite the experience - and quite similar to my own, the one and only time I saw Clouded Leopard cubs, who are simply beyond cuteness
Great shot

Absolutely. I wish they held still for some better portraits, but they still showed off their cuteness like crazy in the shots I did get. So much fun to watch.

Such amazing eyes, another amazing shot! Well worth getting kicked out of the exhibit for if you ask me.

Thanks. I mostly only got kicked out because they were doing a feeding and they kind of scoot people past the glad so everyone can see. But still, I was sad I had to go. On the other hand, I probably wouldn't have seen a lot of the other animals/gotten a lot of the other pictures I got if they hadn't kicked me out lol. Thank goodness for small favors, I guess.

Oh my goodness. Clouded leopard are my favorite! I too was able to see one at about this age. It was only for about 15 minutes and just the once, but it was absolutely the best thing ever. This picture is adorable, too! XD It's eyes are so beautiful.

Yeah, I really lucked out with these guys. It was busy, but for the most part, I was able to hang around and watch them all I wanted. I could have spent all day just watching them play and jump around on each other and sleep. Just the cutest little things.
