I live on the third floor of a tin-roofed apartment complex. This is the top floor, which basically means I'm as close as possible to a giant lightning conductor when I step out my front door. So while this incredibly electric storm was rolling through town a few nights ago, I obviously made the wonderful decision to stand outside and try for a few [hundred] lightning shots. I figure as long as I don't get hit, it's not a bad idea. And with results like these, I think the point is hard to argue.
