Description
If there's one thing that birds in Costa Rica are known for, it's being colorful. They are absolutely inundated with tanagers, which are all the colors of the rainbow, as opposed to the US which has sparrows (all the colors of...well, brown). Wish we had more tanagers in the US.Related content

I actually tuned down the vibrance in Photoshop too. Every shot I took of them the entire time I was there, the red was... well, really, really red.
Haven't heard much from you of late. How's it been going on your end?

Hopefully it will cause me to be a little more active on here for a little bit

That seems to be a common problem lately, staying active on this site. My study abroad was the first thing I have done any semi-serious photography with in months and months. I wish you luck on your trip. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you come back with. You getting into Olympic National park at all?
