Description
This is Sam, a fashion design student at the Art Institute of Chicago.I was at a shoot for Moda and while the model was prepping up in the next outfit, I decided to shoot Sam for my portraits project for school, someone had decided to paint him up something wonderful before hand, though I don't remember quite why.
Re-submited with a new scan from a negative, screw scanning prints.

I like that he is up against a white background. It focuses the viewers attention on him and his expression. The face paint I don't feel worked out so well. The flash ruined most of the detailing there and it looks like face painting gone wrong! His pose is also a bit stiff looking. Overall I think it is a good shot with a few things that could have been better. Perhaps someday you will get a chance for a retake with him.
