11x14 Deardorff w/30" f/12.5 Artar.Fomapan100 in XTol 1:1. 7:30
Speedotron strobes.
What began as an excuse to use the 11x14 Deardorff has grown into a new project about the strength of women and being able to capture their power and beauty together in a single frame.
Only one frame of this project so far fits with how I want it to continue to flesh out. This is it.
I'll keep shooting over the summer. I love this camera, and I feel I'm getting a good handle on the lighting as well.

Great composition. The lighting is excellent and you got a very beautiful model. I don't do a lot of portraits so I really don't know what you could have done better, it looks great to me. There is something funky going on with the frame in the upper left though.

This is a beautiful portrait, and a fine example of the magic of large format. There's the classic feel to it which drew me in; a delicate balance of light and shadow, softness and sharpness.
