Well, I just use a lot of smaller brushes....nice Windsor Newton cold press paper...the super thick stuff. Plus I do layers and layers of color. I also do a color rough in photoshop first as a quide to color. Everything is planned in advance. I've tried jsut going in and randomly painting and bombed big time. Yikes!

I suually have paintigns around 8 x 10.....11 x 17......

I try to fit them in standard frames too...framing is so pricey!
