Description
My version of a shot from TNG episode redemption. The original shot to follow. As of Oct. 2, 2014, this image has been selected to appear in the 2016 Star Trek Ships of the Line calendar!
Kudos to GrahamTG for the use of the planet background!
Also just updated the image to reflect the fix on the upper red deflector. It was kind of buggered on the model, due to poor modelling skills, and too many wires crammed into a very small passage.
Edit!
The calendar has been published, and thanks to trekcollective, here is the listing of all images, including some trolls suggesting screen grabs are not sufficient to tickle their fancy.

Thanks. It helps to shoot in a resolution similar to 4k. A still is a lot sharper than 1080p.

I had the opportunity to apply for a job there, back in the mid eighties, but never really wanted to move to L.A.. Besides, they had a terrible rate of turnover. Heard it was not a fun place to work.
Thanks
Robert.

Looks real good, especially the lighting on both ships.

Thanks. The lighting was pretty much dictated by the original image. Guess they knew what they were doing?!

The one god further!
When people ask me if I believe in god, I say "YES! Apollo is my favourite god!"

Ah. Yea, I really like it, he uses it in his book "The God Delusion" and I think he also uses it in the television documentary The Root of All Evil?, later re-titled The God Delusion.
Personally, I think Michael Forest made a hot Apollo... *shrugs*
I tend to use the FSM myself.

The Vor'cha attack cruiser looks better than the view seen from Trekcores screencaps show. tng.trekcore.com/hd/albums/sea… The Enterprise may need a little work if you are trying to get it to look exactly the way it is seen in the show. The lights from the warp nacelles are not as reflective as seen in the episode. Good job though.

I spent a certain amount of time to get the Vorcha pretty close, but I did use a shot I already had of the Enterprise.
Good catch!
Thanks
Robert
