Again, really sorry about the lateness on these. I got them up as fast as I could, but I've just been down with the sickness... and not in the good way either... Anyway, I'm sure it's still the 23rd somewhere in the world!
Day 23:
Ah yes... Jade... Who more deserving to get the 23rd spot on the Advent calendar? Well, it's no particular order, (except the 24th and 25th!)so she probably would've been appropriate for any of the days, really... ANYway... HEEEEERREE'S JADE!
I'm really glad that Jade decided to watch me a while back, if not, I probably wouldn't have gotten around to checking out her stuff! I mean, holy damn! She's got some properly cool stuff in her gallery! As soon as you can, you should check it out, it'll be totally worth it! I mean, you got cool fanart, awesome gijinkas an stuff, and a totally radical comic!
Now, ol' Jade here's got two main nuzlocke comics, the First one a really cool Emerald run, which I think is just called Nuzlocke Emerald, which finishes and continues onto the second one; a Pokémon Black run called "Try Try Again" (or TTA for short). Long story short, they're both fantastic.
I'm not really sure how to describe the art style on these comics. It starts off traditional, then goes to a digital setting, both of which are really neat! It's a manga-influenced style, with terrifically vibrant colours. But I'm not sure if it's more cool or more cute... It's probably both, both very cool and very cute. I mean, look at those faces! And the eyes... THE EYES!! ^_^ they make me so happy! It's a fantastic comic to look at, it just looks really... good!
And the characters... Just wow... they're all really though-out, I reckon. All with different personalities and whatnot, everyone is totally recognisable and different. And the character development is just fantastic. I mean, dude! Jade knows what's up with her characters, and the development is really interesting and most of all, believable. It's a fantastic ride!
So check out Jade's stuff. It's totally worth it!
For this one, I decided to draw the three characters Jade (the trainer) Frodo (the Blaziken) and (the Oshawott). Mainly because they're some of the stars of Jade's new comic and I'm heaps looking forward to it! I do want to apologise though, Jade kind of turned out looking like an 80's Aerobics Instructor. My bad! Still looks cool though!
