it gets pretty bad for me, when i have people off the street that i dont even know telling me to smile. Or well, that one guy yelling at me, "LIFE ISNT THAT BAD! D:<" when all i was doing was walking home and minding my own business.

My friends always ask each other 'what's wrong, you look sad' whenever they aren't smiling. It's nice that they care, but this statement describes it all. Nice job

Ah yes, this makes me think of this time at work.
I was making sanwiches and having a nice, funny, daydream, when a co-worker just came up to me and made this comment that I looked like I wanted to kill something.
Uwaaah, what does that mean? I know I wasn't smiling, but still! <.<;

I agree. Happens to me alot. They keep asking me why I look sad. But when I start to smile, they start asking me why I'm smiling or what's so funny.

Oh gosh... One guy said I looked "depressed"... what am I supposed to grin all the time with a creepy stare? I did kinda say that was rude of him to do that, but whatever c: This. Is. My new favorite quote

I agree. Well, my "zoned out" face is the same as my "I am miserable" face, though. I've seen pictures as proof. OTL
Anyway, I still agree. It gets annoying.

Hah! This use to happen to me all the time! I'd just be sitting somewhere, contemplating something innocent (enough) ... and someone would walk up to me and go "Are you ok?" .... -_-... curse my naturally straight mouth....
Oh, and then people would always try to pull the "you know, it takes fewer muscles to smile than it does to frown".. yeah, well, that may be true and relevant IF I WAS FROWNING! and not just plain doing NOTHING with my facial muscles.. it doesn't take any muscles to relax you face! ...

If I had a penny for every time that has been said to me I'd be rolling in cash by now. It's incredibly irritating.

So incredibly TRUE. I'm sitting at a party that my parents dragged me too and I'm practically smiling from ear to ear (Just to be nice) but still some of my parent's co-workers have the nerve to ask if there's something wrong with their daughter. And my clothing is pink. Pink I tell you!

Definitely true. People assume at my school just because i'm not standing next to another person or talking to another person, that means I'm lonely and sad. It's stupid.
