Description
This is my cover for Allen Steele's new short story collection "Tales of Time and Space", to be published later this month by Fantastic Books. It collects many of Allen's short works from the last few years, including a few Near Space and Coyote series works, as well as his work for George R.R. Martin/Gardner Dozios' "Old Mars" anthology. The goal of the cover was to evoke the old 60's cover themes that come off as something like "Twilight Zone" meets "Salvador Dali", using a ham-fisted application of visuals to echo the ideas of "space", "time", and "SF adventure". The cover was done in DAZ Studio 3 and finished up in Photoshop. Geometry from Stonemason, Xurge3D, and others was used in the creation.
