Description
Two of the three ships under direct command of Starbase 47 (Vanguard) rendezvous to transfer a critical cargo. I mainly did this one to experiment with lens distortion (foreshortening) to imply a better sense of mass.Archer class scout mesh created by Mark Azevedo - www.3dmaz.com. What do you feel doesn't work about the shadow?
It's very intended, on my part, to convey proximity and relative scale.

I dont know,,, maybe i never see so sharp shadow in ST maybe i just didnt like them... but logickly it must be sharp shadow.... some time ago i was making something very similiar [link] i must say that i like your picture
